I’m excited to share that I’m now officially located inside the Tyson Sinclair in Carthage! My new studio address is: 105 McReynolds Street, Carthage, NC 28327. You'll find me on the second floor- just come up the stairs and you'll see my sign right on the door to the headshot room. I can't wait to welcome you into the new space. I am now just minutes away from Pinehurst, Southern Pines and Aberdeen.

About seven years ago, I made a shift in my photography business, transitioning from family photography to focusing on headshots and branding. This change was sparked when I was approached by a local Southern Pines real estate office, who asked me to be their go-to headshot photographer for new real estate agents. At the time, I was still photographing clients in my living room in Pinehurst—how far things have come since then!

Six years ago, I opened my first studio in Cameron, marking an exciting milestone in my journey. Recently, I made another big move to a new location in Carthage, at the beautiful Tyson Sinclair. In this new space, I now have a dedicated headshot room and an additional room for lifestyle sessions, complete with a variety of furniture and props. This expanded setup better accommodates the growing needs of my diverse client base, offering even more possibilities than my old studio could provide. It’s been incredible to see how far my business has come, and I’m excited for what’s ahead!

The new studio space has truly been a game-changer for me—not only has it sparked my creativity, but it’s also made my daily commute so much easier! Located just a short drive from both Pinehurst and Southern Pines, it’s now much more convenient for my local clients. And for those coming from Aberdeen, where they used to face a longer drive to my Cameron studio, they can now reach me in about 15 minutes—what a difference that makes!

I’m almost finished settling in, but I’ve already started shooting in the new space. In fact, I kicked things off last week and have already had five sessions, with plenty more scheduled for the rest of the month. I’m still running my special of $100 off any session booked in January, so there’s still time to take advantage of that!

One of the biggest perks of my move to Carthage is the charming downtown area. My studio is right in the heart of it, surrounded by beautiful shops, historic buildings, and even the iconic buggy town factory. The brick walls, the coffee shop, and the unique architecture provide the perfect backdrop for branding and headshot sessions.

Another bonus? Once we wrap up the studio portion of your headshot or branding session, we can simply head downstairs to capture some outdoor shots in the vibrant downtown area, offering even more variety for your images.

I’m truly excited about all the changes and can’t wait to be fully settled in and ready to keep creating in this amazing new space!

Last but certainly not least, have you ever heard of the ballroom at the Tyson Sinclair? If not, let me introduce you to this hidden gem. The ballroom is an impressive 8,000 square-foot venue located just a short distance from my photography studio—about 20 steps away, door to door, within the same building. How amazing is that?

For my corporate, commercial, and product photography clients, the ballroom is a game-changer. If you're planning an all-day shoot for your team, employees, or a newly launched product line, the ballroom is the perfect space. With 8,000 square feet, there's plenty of room to accommodate all of your products, models, and staff without feeling cramped. It’s spacious enough for large-scale shoots, making it ideal for product photography with hired models or team photoshoots.

And if anyone needs a break during the shoot, local restaurants are just a few steps away, so lunch or coffee is never far. It’s a fantastic addition to my studio, and I’m thrilled to have it right next door! My new address is 105 McReynolds Street, Carthage NC, 28327!

This collage features a few shots from my most recent headshot and branding session. After we wrapped up the classic headshots against a backdrop in the studio, we moved into the lifestyle room for some more personalized portraits. Then, we braved the cold for just a few minutes to capture some outdoor shots in front of the beautiful Moore County Courthouse in Carthage. The courthouse was the perfect backdrop for my client, a lawyer, who wanted a setting that truly reflected her profession and personality. It was a great mix of studio, lifestyle, and outdoor portraits to create a well- rounded branding session
